DeMarcus Cousins Imposing His Will

For the last two nights, DeMarcus Cousins has been the talk of the town in Sacramento.

Friday evening he was the spark that led the Kings in an upset of the Los Angeles Lakers, 100-95.

Against the Lakers, Cousins had 27 points on 11-19 from the floor, he grabbed 10 boards, had 3 steals, 2 assists and 2 blocks all while only committing 1 personal foul.

Saturday, DeMarcus duplicated his Friday evening effort as the Kings snapped the New Orleans Hornets 10 game winning streak with a 102-96 win.

Cousins led in just about every category as he had a game high 25 points on 11-22 from the field, a game high 12 rebounds, he matched the Hornets Chris Paul for a game high 7 assists and added 1 steal.

The Kings, 12-33 on the season, have won 3 of their last four which included a 96-81 win over Portland and a 94-89 loss to Charlotte.

DeMarcus continues to find his game in the NBA. Doubtful if he can catch Blake Griffin for Rookie of the Year, but it appears he is finding his groove which means trouble for opponents.

Here’s Cousins post-game interview including some super highlights.
