Joker Confirms Rumor – Three Cats Out

Joker confirmed what was missing on the new UK roster. Paul Warford who was expected to be one of the starting cornerbacks is no longer with the team.

“Didn’t pass enough hours.”

Warford played in 11 games in 2009, missing two because of a quad muscle strain, and started nine times. he had a total of 32 tackles and six pass breakups  including matching his single-game best with three pass breakups in the win at Auburn.

Also not on the roster are Will Johnson and defensive tackle Myron Walker who will transfer. Neither of those players were expected to be big contributors.

Johnson did play in all 13 games and was a mainstay on special teams.

What could hurt is DT Mister Cobble who had a really good shot at starting as a redshirt freshman. Cobble is listed as with the third team behind Luke McDermott a walk on because he could get sacked by the books.

Joker says the decision of whether or not Cobble will play is going down to the wire.
