Kentucky To The Music City Bowl… Again?

The Bleacher Report has completed it’s early season Bowl predictions for the 2010-11 season.

They have first year head Coach Joker Phillips and the Cats going to the Franklin American (Formerly Known as the Gaylord Hotels) Music City Bowl, again. The Music City Bowl will bring in teams from the ACC and the SEC, the same conference match-up as the Chick-Fil-A Bowl.

The BR is projecting that the Cats would be matched up this year against the Boston College Golden Eagles.

Boston College ended the 2009 season with an 8-5 record, including a loss in the Emerald Bowl against the USC Trojans, 24-13. Kentucky ended the season last year with a 7-6 record and a loss in the Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl to Clemson, 21-13, in what turned out to be Rich brooks final game as the Head Coach for the Cats.

Overall, Kentucky has played in the Music City Bowl four times over the last eleven years and has accumulated a 2-2 record. The bowl is scheduled for December 30 at 5:30 pm and will be played at LP Field in downtown Nashville, TN.

It appears 65 will once again be known as the Cat Trail…

Go Cats!!!
