Meet LeBryan Nash - 2011 Kentucky Recruit - (Tom Fox/The Dallas Morning News)

Maybe, like me, you’re a True Blue fan who isn’t lucky enough to live in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Maybe, like me, you spend endless hours searching Twitter, facebook, Google Reader and the endless Internet for any news you can find about the Big Blue.

Maybe, unlike me, you currently reside in Morgantown, Orlando, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Las Vegas or even Mequon, yep, Mequon Wisconsin? Well today is your lucky day. All of these great cities are locations for what Evan Daniels of calls, his Top Ten List of NCAA sanctioned Events for the month of July.

As the temperatures rise, so does the recruiting intensity and it’s getting hot in July. July consists of two 10 day evaluation periods for college Coach’s. Evaluation periods are full of tournaments and camps consisting of the nation’s top prospects. Camps where you can see the likes of Chane Behanan, Marquis Teague, Quincy Miller, Anthony Davis or maybe even the Twitter King, Tony Wroten Jr.

If you’re a Big Blue fan and live in or around any of the sites where a potential future Wildcat is playing, let me encourage you to take a day or two or three off work and enjoy some future Big Blue Talent.

Potential Kentucky Players have been highlighted in Blue. Click the players name to see them in action.

Adidas Invitational – July 6-8 – Every adidas affiliated program will be represented in Indianapolis (Ind.) and it would be safe to bet that probably 250 of the 331 Division-1A basketball programs will have coaches in attendance as well. Three Players To Watch: Kaleb Tarczewski, Chane Behanan and LeBryan Nash.

King City Classic – July 8 & 9 – Nike’s biggest event of the year is a culmination of all of their skills academics, as 80 of the top prospects with gather in Cleveland. It’s named after the best basketball player in the world and it will consist of the best prospects in all of high school basketball. Three Players To Watch: Anthony Davis, Quincy Miller and Austin Rivers.

Peach Jam – July 12-15 – Just a few days after Nike’s big camp event comes to a close, their major summer tournament begins. This year the Nike League will have the team seeded and they’ll play for a championship in Augusta (Ga.). Three Players To Watch: Marquis Teague, Rakeem Christmas and Sam Thompson.

NY2LA Sports Summer Jam – July 12-15 – Every year a few guys blow up in Antonio Curro’s event in Mequon (Wisc.) and we don’t expect this year to be any different. This event always has a strong backing from Midwest teams. Three Players To Watch: Paul Jesperson, Deonte Burton and Peter Jok.

West Virginia Jam Fest – July 14-16 – Closing out the first July evaluation period is one of Hoop Group’s best events of the year. The event, which takes place in Morgantown (W.V.), pulls a number of teams from the northeast part of the country. Three Players To Watch: Alex Murphy, Amile Jefferson and Khem Birch.

Adidas Super 64 – July 22-26 – Much like the adidas Invitational, every adidas sponsored program will be at the event in Las Vegas, but they’ll also bring in a number of team from the west coast and the Midwest. Three Players To Watch: Quinn Cook, Alex Poythress and Kaleb Tarczewski.

Fab 48 – 22-25 – With the end of the Reebok Summer Champion era, Dinos Trigonis is starting the Fab 48 in Las Vegas to take its place. He’s scooped up a number of former Reebok teams and it looks like a quality event. Three Players To Watch: Amir Garrett, DeAndre Daniels and Brandon Ashley.

AAU Super Showcase – July 23-27 – Most think Nationals is the main event in Orlando (Fla.), but still the Super Showcase always has a great line up and is usually full of players. This deal is usually sprinkled with Nike teams. Three Players To Watch: Nick Faust, Aaron Thomas and Trey Burke.

AAU Nationals – July 26 – Aug. 1 – Disney World is always a great place to close out July. Usually a few prospects pop up here and it’s a great place to get final reads on players. Three Players To Watch: Dorian Finney-Smith, Hunter Mickelson and Jakarr Sampson.

Desert Duel – July 27 & 28 – Over the past few years this event, which is located in Phoenix (Ariz.), has built a strong reputation. They pull teams from all over and it’s used to raise money for the Tom Crawford Leadership Children’s Foundation. Three Players To Watch: Wayne Blackshear, Chasson Randle and Tony Wroten.

Expect to see Coach Calipari on the road over the next month as he looks to finalize Kentucky’s 2011 Class, a class that once again is showing promises of being the Number 1 overall recruiting class for 2011.
