For the first time this Spring, it appears we have some separation between the three QB’s, and that separation was created by Mike Hartline’s.

Chip Cosby reported the following:

Senior-to-be Mike Hartline was on target with most of his throws all morning and hooked up with Chris Matthews for a beautiful 80-yard touchdown pass.

“For the first day, (Hartline) actually showed up more than the other ones,” Phillips said. “The thing is Mike feels a lot more comfortable than the other two. He’s been here a long time, he’s gotten a lot more reps, he understands where the ball is supposed to be at, and he also understands where the defense is at. He’s playing a little faster than the other two right now.”

Joker provides insight to all three QB’s and where each stands to date…
